Recycling Program Continues
The Keweenaw's Second Annual Waste Reduction Drive (Sponsored by the MTU Sustainability House) will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Items for collection include metal wrappers as you find on candy and chip bags, any kind of egg carton, and plastic lids (found on bottles of water, milk jugs, etc.). New this year is an ongoing collection of plastic wrappers, shaving razors and dental supplies at the Houghton City Centre or various spots at MTU.
